Andrea Ode receives Lydia-Rabinowitsch-Grant
August 2013 | Andrea Ode, research group leader of the Berlin Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT) and the Julius Wolff Institute of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin has successfully applied for a Lydia-Rabinowitsch-Grant of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
The grant is awarded every year by the affirmative action program of Charité. It is intended for women scientists who (due to familial reasons) had to interrupt their career and now intend to qualify for top positions in science and/or teaching.
Andrea Ode received her PhD in 2010. Her research focuses on the role of purin receptors in the regulation of human mesenchymal stem cells. She has a ten months old daughter. The grant is awarded for six months with a total sum of 6,000 Euro which can be used for personnel or for equipment.
