Cooperation between Charité and DIZG
Berlin, 18 August 2013 | The Julius Wolff Institute of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the German Institute for Cell and Tissue Replacement (DIZG) have signed a cooperation agreement. Both institutes have already been working together in the past. The objective of their collaboration is to improve treatment of bone defects caused by injuries or accidents. Professor Britt Wildemann, professor of the Berlin Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies (BCRT) of Charité - Universitätsmedizin, who also works at the Julius Wolff Instiute, says: "With this cooperation agreement we underline our successful collaboration of the past. I am confident that our research projects will bear fruit to the best of the patients." The BCRT supports the research group of Julius Wolff Insitute and guarantees that their research findings will be brought quickly into clinical application.
