Univ.-Prof. Dr. sc. nat. Andreas Lendlein

Andreas Lendlein serves on the Board of Directors of the Berlin-Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies and is a member of the medical faculty of Charité, University Medicine Berlin. He is Director of the Center for Biomaterial Development, Institute of Polymer Research at Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht in Teltow and works at the University of Potsdam as Professor for Materials in Life Sciences. Since 2008 he is Professor in Chemistry at the Freie Universität of Berlin as well. Since 2009 he is the spokesperson of the cross-programme initiative "Technology and Medicine - Adaptive Systems" of the Helmholtz-Association, where six Helmholtz Centers are participating. Furthermore, he has more than five years of experience as a CEO of a Germany based BioMedTech Company.
